Thanks to Marie-Pierre for this idea for a very... creepy... which Loïc of course loved, and which now adorns our mantelpiece and surprises (to say the least) our visitors!

cardboard halloween decoration
This is the Frankeinstein character, with a very sympathetic "face", and the amusing characteristic of having a head that opens up to reveal ... the inside...
Halloween decoration: Frankeinstein to color
Version already colored Version to be colored. Loïc preferred to do the coloring himself and thus personalize his "Frankeinstein"
Halloween decoration: Frankeinstein
Click for larger image 1 - Print the model on Bristol board, then cut it out.
2 - Cut out the cardboard packaging from a whisky bottle (it's stronger) or a plastic bottle.
3 - Cover with black crepe paper so that the wrapper or bottle can be opened at the scar. 4 - Glue or staple the bottom of the face to the bottom of the bottle, then glue the forehead to the top of the bottle. 5 - Make a large ball with absorbent cotton. Tie it loosely with kitchen twine (to make the "pipes" of the brain...). 6 - With an old toothbrush dipped in red paint, a little liquid, run your thumb over the brush to spray the paint. Make a few darker spots here and there, then leave to dry (visual effect guaranteed!). 7 - Put some sand or earth in the bottle to prevent it from tipping over. 8 - Place the ball in the bottle, but don't push it in too far. It needs to protrude by half for the effect to be even more ...disgusting. And there you have it, a superb 'Halloween' decoration to place in the middle of the table...or in a dark corner...
