Collage and decoration for notebooks


Aspiral-bound hardcover notebook is fully decorated with a little paint and collage using masking tapes, so quick and easy to customize, and Magic motifs with a beautiful velvety effect.

Materials & supplies required

  • A notebook or spiral notebook with cardboard covers
  • black and white acrylic paint
  • Cool chick" and "Cool clothes" Magic Motifs
  • Pastel flock (pink, yellow and parma)
  • Rolls of masking tape (crepe-effect Rainbow Tape) in yellow, orange and purple (thinner strips)
  • Gold stars, yellow and dark purple paper

Realization

Step 1 Paint the cardboard cover in light grey (little black but lots of white) in two coats, including the spirals.

Step2 Adhere strips of Rainbow tape to the right and bottom edges, leaving the edges to overlap and fold inwards.

Step 3 Decorate with Magic Motifs. The images are simply transferred by applying the motif (after removing the protective film) to the chosen location, rubbing the transparent film to ensure the motif adheres well to the notebook.

Then remove this film and rub with a sheet of flock in the desired color: the velvet remains stuck and the pattern is perfectly covered.

For a more"scrap" effect, cut a circle from shiny dark purple paper (notching one edge), glue another smaller circle from yellow paper to it, and decorate with a Magic heart motif. Then decorate with a Magic heart motif. Finally, add a few golden stars.
