Manufacturing stages

children's DIY: step 1
Using the brush, glue part of the outer edges of the mirror: lay out a straw, complete with another by cutting the piece of straw that is sticking out, and so on... Glue the rest of the outer edges, arrange the straws, then work on the inner edges of the mirror.

children's DIY: step 2
The space for gluing the straws is now defined. In this space, create large rectangles, or squares with different color combinations for each area, it will be prettier! Glue an area, not too large, and arrange the straws.
children's DIY: step 3
Continue, gluing as you go. Remember to arrange the straws vertically, horizontally and diagonally (a good opportunity to learn a new word!).

For a young child, it's a bit difficult to cut the straws (craft straws are tough!) and the activity could be too long and tiring... It's better to cut the straws for them and leave the gluing/arranging of the straws to them, as well as the choice of colors - in short, the most artistic part!
