Children's crafts: Autumn
Here's a manual activity for kindergarten (from age 3).
An autumn-themed tree, so simple and yet so charming.
The first step is to collect small leaves and sort them for drying.
The base can be made of
salt dough (to be painted after drying, unless paint is incorporated into the dough) or self-hardening clay.
Before firing or drying, prick brown (or black) chenille wires into the base. These intertwine to form the tree's trunk, then open to form the tree's branches.
the dried leaves are then pricked onto the branches.
in just 3 steps, a small child can create an autumn tree.
This
tree is part of a country landscape, a harmonious blend of materials.
This set is glued to a base: cardboard painted uniformly green.
The barrier is made of small branches tied with raffia and resting on balls of salt dough or clay (like the tree's base).

The sheep is made of papier-mâché, painted once dry. Eyes and a small nose are drawn in black felt-tip pen. The legs, made of chenille thread (decidedly practical!), are stitched into the sheep's body.
To materialize the winding path, first the outlines are drawn in pencil, then the glue is placed by the child within the limits of the line, and finally, the child sprinkles sand on the glued part and, by overturning the green cardboard, the path is materialized as if by magic!
The base of the tree is also glued to the green cardboard, leaving only the sheep free to move around as it makes a fun toy for children!
This is how an autumn observation of nature gives rise to this lovely creation by budding artists.
