The initial of the child's first name was chosen for this craft, to be glued on the bedroom door.
The letter was cut out of rough wood, then carefully sanded before being given to the child.
Pages from a magazine on a theme close to the child's heart -
Lego Starwars ® - were cut out, some of them torn to reveal only the images, others cut with scissors to reveal only an interesting drawing.
The wood is progressively glued with glue varnish using a wide brush, then the papers are placed on top: the larger ones torn first, then glued again, and the smaller motifs placed on the front of the letter.
Once the letter is completely covered, let it dry and apply another coat of glue varnish to protect the decoration.
Only then can it be glued to the door, using Patafix for example.
