Scrap deco Christmas canvas

Scrap deco consists of using scrapbooking techniques and materials to create decorative objects, such as a home deco canvas. An easy project based on an idea: transparent mini Christmas ornaments containing mini gifts for a relief canvas with a touch of poetry and humour...

- white cotton canvas on stretcher - 2 small transparent balls that open in two - thin sky-blue paper with gold filaments - paint (black, blue, red, pink) - towel with "Christmas elf" motif - mini cardboard boxes - assorted ribbons

Prepare the background for the canvas: half a rabbit painted black, the blue of the sky (the same blue as the design on the napkin), then glue the fine paper with gold filaments to the edges of the canvas. Cut the cardboard mini-boxes in 2, then paint them in the same colors as the gifts carried by the elf. Decorate the gift boxes with silver pearlescent tube-flasks, to materialize the ribbon, make polka dots etc... or place a gift ribbon on a mini-box.

Carefully cut out the napkin motif and glue on (with spray glue or liquid varnish-glue). As a very softer embellishment, glue on a few metallic gold stars...
