The wreath used to support the Christmas decoration can be of different kinds:
- from
tightly-wound straw, wrapped in elastic string, as found in hobby stores,
- from
flexible insulation tubing: simply cut to length, store the two ends together to form a circle
- from
salt dough (but it will only be possible to roll elements onto the wreath, not to hold them in place by sticking needles), because of the thickness of the cylinder, the salt dough wreath will need to be baked for a long time
- from
newspaper: sheets of recycled newspaper are shaped into a wreath and held together with craft paper tape: it's easy to do yourself and very economical! But the wreath must then be completely covered to hide the tape.
