Structuring the canvas

fabric structure
A bit of geometry to get you started, placing squares and lines exactly where you want them. Use half a ball to draw its outline (with a pencil), placing it 3.5 cm from the left edge and 4 cm from the top edge (make sure the ball's attachment is vertical). Do the same for the other 3 corners of the canvas.
For the balls in the bottom-left and top-right corners, draw a 9 cm square around the ball (the middle of each side must therefore be 1.5 cm from the edge of the ball). Draw a vertical line: 13.5 cm from the right edge, 1 cm from this previous line, then 0.5 cm from this previous line, then 2 cm from this previous line.

Relief effect

Using a flat brush (0..5 wide), spread relief structure paste (the one used is "snow effect") in the left-hand central column and over the pencil lines to cover them.
don't forget the top and bottom edges of the frame.

Painting the canvas

home decor paint
Make a mixture of blue (very little) and white (in high proportion) to obtain a light blue. Paint the right-hand side with this light mixture, using a soft brush and a clean cloth to spread the paint so that the white of the canvas is visible in places.
Paint the squares (except the inner circles) in silver metallic for the bottom-left corner square, and in deep blue for the other square. With the same blue, paint the bottom-right corner circle and the narrow central band. With the same silver metallic paint, paint the right-hand column.

Crackled paint effect

Once the 1st coat of paint is dry, apply the crackling gel with a soft brush to the squares painted in silver and blue metallic. Wait about 10 minutes for the gel to dry. Paint with the contrasting color (a slightly deeper sky blue than the one used on the left-hand side; if you have any left, simply add a little more blue). Important: paint in a single pass, don't brush over an area you've already painted (otherwise you'll displace the cracks already forming). Let dry, all cracks will appear.

Multi-materials and reliefs

decorate with felt on home deco
During this drying time, prepare the transparent bauble (see how to make a Christmas bauble with rhinestones: note that only one part is decorated with arabesques and rhinestones, the other with silver glitter only).

Prepare the felt circles: draw them using half a bauble as a support, placed on the piece of felt. Mark with a fine felt-tip pen, then cut out, removing any traces of felt.
The white felt circle is decorated with arabesques similar to those on the rhinestone ball, and the rhinestones are decorated with drops of transparent glue with blue glitter.

Use the same glue on the grey felt circle to draw a median strip and loops at the top of the ball.

Gluing elements

gluing Christmas home decor elements
All that's left to do is glue the various elements that make up our Home déco Christmas canvas: the white felt roundel in the bottom-left square, the grey felt roundel in the top-right square, the "transparent ball with rhinestones" part in the top-left corner, and the other in the last corner, on the blue roundel, for a lovely transparent effect. all that remains is to glue (with textile or universal glue) the grey lace ribbon to the right-hand strip (painted in silver metallic). You can play with the trompe-l'oeil effect by drawing the imaginary fastener with a fine brush in dark grey, and painting the real fasteners of the 2 parts of the ball in the same way...
