New Year's Eve decorations in crystal beads

On an 80cm length of brass wire, thread 18 faceted 4mm beads (here in Siam Gold). Using a brass wire will help shape the knot. Pass the 2 ends of the wire through a 14mm Rivoli Swarovski rhinestone setting (here in Topaz-Amber): the short end should measure 12 to 15cm. With the long end, form the same symmetrical loop and re-cross the setting.

String 6 to 8 faceted beads on each end and finish by winding the wire around itself using fine-tip pliers (wire&wire technique).the butterfly knot is then tied to the glass with a piece of brass wire wrapped around the foot and just secured by these hooked ends.

Here, the bow tie is made with crystal/silver facets, a silver setting, Rivoli Black Diamond rhinestones and thin silver wire (28G).
