Wall decor: a tree and its felt decorations
A tree in a bedroom - what a great idea!
This one is painted in green ecological paint and decorated with felt flowers, butterflies, hearts and dragonflies. These little embossed decorations are hand-embroidered in a very simple way. This wooden decoration is the ecological version of wall stickers!

This fine wood tree is sold in pre-cut planks. All you have to do is separate the various elements, taking care not to mix the sides: paint only the stacked side of each element.
The paint used is a natural paint from Natura, in fact a homemade mixture of the basic colors blue, yellow and white, until you obtain the desired shade of green, which matches the pink and cyclamen tones of the elements in the room.
This paint is easy to use, requiring only one coat for excellent coverage.
Wall installation
First lay out the various pieces on the floor, referring to the plan supplied.
Then place them one by one, gluing 2 double-sided self-adhesive pads to the back. As wood is light, this is all you need to stick to a clean wall.
Felt decorations
To brighten up this "meadow green" tree, wool felt decorations in relief are made. In shades of pink, parma and dark purple, to match the baby's bedroom decor and the dressed bassinet, shapes are cut out. The shapes include butterflies and dragonflies, specific to this room, as well as hearts and large flowers (reminiscent of the motifs on home deco canvases for babies).
For each hanging decoration: the main shape is first cut twice in felt (2 pink flowers, for example), then a smaller motif to be placed on the shape is cut in felt of a different color.
between the two identical shapes is some padding (or small pieces of recycled felt), then the shapes are sewn together with contrasting-colored embroidery thread (3 strands) in faux coarse stitches. The motif(s) are then sewn, again with colored stitch effects.
An embroidery thread fastener is added to suspend the decoration from a thumbtack planted in the tree. The double-sided stickers can be replaced by gold pins to avoid any glue.
Using upholsterer's nails (longer and therefore more secure to the wall), which are not driven in completely, will allow baby, now grown-up, to play with moving the decorations around.
