Decorating an eco-friendly baby girl's room

For a baby's room made from ecological materials, it's possible to make all the decorative elements and accessories essential to a baby's room yourself. Indeed, it's hard to find these accessories in organic textiles or furniture in solid wood and natural paint. Since we want the best for our babies, we might as well start with the healthiest possible indoor air! Decorating a child's bedroom yourself also means being able to match furniture, textiles and wall decorations to the same theme and colors, as well as giving a new lease of life to salvaged furniture for an eco-friendly bedroom at a lower cost. The bedroom we're proposing is on the theme of butterflies, with which a few dragonflies and a few sheep come to play... The colors are cyclamen violet (a tonic color), light parma (a soft color) and ecru (a neutral color), illuminated by a soft green.

Chair and armchair makeovers

Revamped wicker armchair
A child's wicker armchair, dating back some thirty years, is given a makeover for our daughter's bedroom. A patchwork cushion in fabrics matching the bed, placed on this little armchair, brings her a little cozy comfort. An antique wooden chair with a relief pattern is also given a new life in more tonic colors.
