An assortment of frosted glass photophores decorated with dreaming angels.
An activity that combines napkin-making and glass painting.
Materials required
For each photophore :
- a glass,
- paper towel motifs
- clear glue varnish
- special frosted-effect glass paint
- special gold glass paint
- organza ribbon.
Position the napkin pattern
Cut out the chosen motif, keeping only one layer of napkin.
Using your fingers, position the motif on the glass, and apply two coats of clear varnish at 10-minute intervals.
This will bond the motif, as well as protecting it.
Glass decoration
Once the napkin is glued in place, and after drying (1 hour), paint the base with frosted-effect special glass paint, using a n°8 wide brush.
The top of the glass and the foot are sponge-painted with special glass gold paint.
Tie the ribbons
Cut a sufficient length of organza ribbon in a matching color and tie it around the base.
