Alittle soft paste is applied to the base, and the paper napkin decoration takes on its full relief!
Hardware
A wooden frame measuring 20cm x 20cm inside
a paper napkin (a quarter with a nice pattern)
aerosol varnish-glue (ref 202 from Odif, for example)
soft relief paste
Realization
Step 1
Place the quarter towel in the frame. Lift up the edges one after the other, and, using a grey pencil, mark the areas you wish to highlight. Here, it's the body of the scarecrow, the pumpkin etc...
Step 2: Lightly shape the dough (it dries quickly in the fingers) and stick it in the marked places.
Step 3
Double the quarter towel. Place on cardboard, face down. Spray varnish-glue from a distance of 20cm. Wait a few minutes, then place the napkin in the frame, centered.
If you don't succeed on the first try, you can peel it off and start again - that's the advantage of spray varnish glue. Smooth with a cloth: there are no creases!
Now paint the edges of the frame, in continuity with the napkin motif, or more simply, in a contrasting solid color...Use acrylic wood paint.
once dry, spray the frame with varnish-glue, this time from a distance of 40 cm.
