How to create a laminated Napkins Card

The material

A roll of stretch polyethylene cling film Granite spray varnish (which will be used to glue your napkin to the base) A pair of scissors A square A lead pencil and eraser A tube of glue gel or stick A roll of baking parchment A cutter White cardboard A paper napkin A self-healing cutting plate

The cut

Cut out a card in the dimensions of your choice from the white cardboard. Choose a paper napkin (striped, patterned, etc...). Cut out your napkin. Remove the two white layers of your napkin to leave only the printed part.

Collage

Glue your napkin with the glue varnish spray on the reverse side of the motif, wait a minute. Glue your motif on the cardboard (smooth side) Pad your motif with the help of the two layers of white cloth. Trim the excess napkin edges with your scissors

The transfer

Then I glued a piece of colored card stock to the white card stock. Take your iron and ironing board. Plug in the iron and set it to the "Wool" (medium) position, without steam. Prepare a sheet of baking parchment, a piece of cling film and your napkin card. Place the cling film on the card. Work in an airy space, as heating the cling film will certainly produce unnatural fumes...

Finalizing the map

Place the baking parchment on top. Press firmly with your iron for a few seconds. Wait a minute and carefully peel off the parchment. Cut all around your card and then remove the excess cling film. Your card is finished and smooth to the touch
