Here's how to create a cat-themed scrapbook page, step by step, using standard scrapbooking materials, to showcase two family photos.
Choosing photos, paper and embellishments
First, I chose the photos and the paper. Then, I inked the photos with Distress ink, glued them on a different color paper to bring out the photos.
I then cut out a flower using the Cuttle bug and glued it on top to create a 3D effect.
Cutting and inking metal embellishments
Using the Cuttle bug and a Die (cutting template), I cut out birds and a cage.
Then I inked them with spirit ink and glued them in place.
I applied my stamps...
Cutting the ball
I cut it out on card using the Cuttle bug, using a ball as a die.
Then I embossed it: by applying embossing powder and heating with a heat gun.
Then I wrapped the string around it and glued it in place.
Dog prints
I tore a piece of scrap paper and punched it with a dog-pasta punch.
I inked it to give it an aged effect.
