A pretty effect to add to a candle: glue
rhinestones on it, to reflect the light. The rhinestones can be used to complement the paint, as on our model.
Please note: gluing rhinestones to a candle is a little more difficult than gluing them to fabric. This is because you're not working flat, but on a cylindrical support, and wax is not an absorbent material for glue. The rhinestones therefore tend to slip, but the glue will set quickly. It's time to place each rhinestone as it slides along, turning the candle in front of you to align and space them at regular intervals. Of course, the rhinestones must be glued with specific glue and not hot glue, which would melt the candle.
