The aim here is not to produce homemade soap (a complex recipe using corrosive products), but to use glycerine bases that make it easy to use by melting and then pouring the heated preparation into a mold. These bases are called "Melt and Pour".
Different complements can be added to this base: colorants, fragrances, natural or even edible elements for cosmetic effects.
Tocolor homemade soaps, we use either a colorant (stick or liquid - always check the composition if you want natural, non-chemical soaps), or a food colorant: powdered spices (turmeric, cinnamon, paprika and even chocolate!), clay...
Toperfume our soaps, we can use a few drops of essential oils (be careful with children), or replace the water (when necessary) with a tea of scented leaves (linden, mint...).
Foruse in cosmetics, exfoliating soaps are obtained by adding dried and coarsely ground leaves, almond powder...
Vegetable oils (olive, shea) are added for a moisturizing effect: but be careful with quantities, for a successful soap, you need a precise dosage (the use of a small scale may be necessary) and carry out several tests before obtaining your personal recipe for homemade soap!
